Hello everyone!
This week we wanted to have a short little update to talk a little bit about the Outer Wilds audio. After a planet has gone through its final art pass it starts to go through its audio pass. This month we’ve been working heavily with our SFX Designer, Chuck Russom, to refine the SFX of completed planets. Specifically we have been concentrating on the massive planet Giant’s Deep and the cozy world of Timber Hearth. Check out our soundcloud here. That’s all for this week! welp, i guess the biweekly update streak was just killed... the updates were sorta snuffing out, along with my enthusiasm.

We actually have our update coming out very soon today and will continue to have updates every two weeks. The reason the last one was posted on a Wednesday was due to a shorter work week and the holidays. We apologize if this caused any confusion! 1/17/2018 08:30:15 am
You really create some wonderful sound effects. If I wasn't aware, I would've thought that this came from something real. I'd love to hear more from your soundboard edits. I've been following your blog for quite some time now and you never cease to amaze me. I won't be surprised if someday you get invited to work on something big. Comments are closed.
