Alex Beachum, Creative Lead

Alex Beachum is the Co-Creative Lead at Mobius Games and Creative Director of Outer Wilds, which began as his graduate thesis at USC’s Interactive Media MFA program.

He is gifted with the Sight, cannot be killed with conventional weapons, and should not be allowed to write short bios about himself.

Wesley Martin, Art Director

Classically trained, Wesley loves the texture of fresh paint strokes, the weight of wet clay, and the energy of impressionistic color. Past projects include EverQuest, iOS game Shove Pro, and the Microsoft HoloLens. Wesley recently shipped another time-looping
mystery game:
Elsinore.

Lara Colson, Lead Artist

Lara makes a bunch of the rocks and the dirts and other miscellaneous arts. When she is not digitally sculpting or watching modeling software crash, she is busy setting up ~mischief shenanigans~ in the office.

Her favorite emoji is Google's old ghost emoji. Her second favorite emoji is Samsung's old cookie emoji, which was a saltine cracker.

Eilish Lambrechtsen, 3D Artist

Eilish has been part of Mobius Digital team working on Outer Wilds, with roles ranging from 3D Artist to Producer. Their artwork focuses on being stylized and supporting world building.

They enjoy plants, solving puzzles, and every bump on a toad.

Kelsey Beachum, Writer

Kelsey Beachum is a highly collaborative
game writer and narrative designer who began contracting with Mobius Digital in 2015 to continue her work on Outer Wilds.

A former science magazine editor and editorial assistant at The Onion, it’s anyone’s guess how she ended up working in games full-time, but her technical and creative background make her dangerously useful.

Loan Verneau, Creative Lead

Born in a land far far away, Loan is proud to be officially coined an alien. At 13, he decided he wanted to make games his career. After a Bachelor in Software Engineering at EPFL in Switzerland, he completed his Master in Interactive Media at USC in 2013, right before becoming the first crew member of
the Mobius Digital adventure.

Picture

Jeffrey Yu, Engineer

Jeffrey currently works on the game systems and the user interface. Prior to joining Mobius, Jeff worked in software development for public utilities, and got a degree in aerospace engineering from USC.

An avid anime fan, his desk sports a collection of anime figures, and he often cosplays a time traveling, self-proclaimed mad scientist.

Logan Ver Hoef, Tech Artist

Logan Ver Hoef was born and raised in California, and growing up spent many weekends tearing through the wilderness at a cabin in the Sierra Nevadas. Logan is a graduate of U.C. Santa Cruz's Computer Game Design program, and has a M.F.A. from the University of Southern California's Interactive Media Division. Over the past few years, Logan has become increasingly obsessed with landscapes in video games.

Lately, Logan has been reading the Southern Reach Trilogy, various books on architecture, and lots of Neil Gaiman.

Andrew Prahlow, Audio Lead

Andrew started as an intern at John Powell's studio while in the SMPTV Grad Program at USC. From 2011-2014, he assisted on the music of ‘The Legend of Korra’ and ‘Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness.' His music was featured in trailers for ‘The Martian', leading to him writing soundscapes for the Madden NFL franchise.  Andrew wrote an arrangement of ‘Be Our Guest’ for the 2017 Oscars ‘Beauty and the Beast’ TV spot, and the score to the Mobile VR Game of the Year, ‘Eclipse: Edge of Light’. He also often writes for trailer campaigns, including ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Avengers'.

Kelsey Rice, Producer

Kelsey's ideal gaming experience involves making spreadsheets; in her opinion, planning a playthrough is just as fun as playing the game itself.  This serves her well as Producer at Mobius Digital! When she's not making spreadsheets, Kelsey loves working on games that use compelling worlds to tell great stories. Outside of work, she enjoys piano, bookbinding, and D&D.
Picture

Ana solimano, assistant Producer

Ana is a game development producer that loves to focus her efforts on fighting fires and improving process. She'd interned at Survios and Warner Animation before settling in, at full time gig with Mobius.

She enjoys her partner, her birds, and tabletop roleplaying games.
