The Final Stretch

Hello everyone!

As you have undoubtedly noticed, there are not many days left in 2018.

In order to bring you the most polished and stable version of the game possible, we will be releasing Outer Wilds in 2019.

The next public update will be on February 1st, and we will have a lot more to share. In the meantime, we will be hard at work getting ready to launch the game.

That’s the End of This Update

Thank you all again for your support and patience, it means the world to us. We just finished a final internal play-through of the entire game and we cannot wait to share it with all of you.

That’s a little sad to hear; I was looking forward to playing it around Christmas or New Years. However, I am sure that it will be worth the wait. You guys are awesome, *secretly* hoping the update in February is a surprise release, keep it up and Merry Christmas.

I've been checking every few days for a release date so thanks for the update. Sad we won't get to play it this year but looking forward to it in 2019!

Thanks for the update. I love the idea/art style and overall aesthetic of it. I’m hoping it’s early 2019 ha, but I understand. Good luck down the final stretch

Excited to finally get to play this. I've checking in every couple of weeks since I played the demo a few years ago. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait!

Hey Guys!

Just wanted to tell you that i can't wait to play this awesome looking game, been playing the demo since the whole solar system was unlocked. Can't wait till you guys release this diamond of a game, it will really kick my 2019 gears into motion. Unfortunatly i live in scandinavia, so i have to wait till tomorrow, but from the demo i've been playing, it'll well worth the wait.

Thank you for the dedication you put into this game, i really appreciate you taking your time making sure the game will be as ready as it can be!

Been waiting for this game for like 6 years, cant wait for it to come out, dont care how much it costs or how much longer i have to wait, I just want to play this game so much, wish you guys all the best.
