Thank you for your patience; Patch 1.0.5 is now available for PS4 users, which includes a save backup system to prevent save data corruption on PS4. I know this whole fiasco popped up during the holiday season which must have made it difficult to address when you were lean on staff, but to be able to finally play this game in earnest without the paranoia that my game would be wiped at every reset is a huge relief. I can't wait to finally dive in.

Thank you! This save corruption issue was a big stain on an otherwise excellent game. Will be much easier to enjoy the game without worrying about losing progress at the end of every loop.

Hey cool beans. Unfortunately, I already had to buy the game again on PC since you sold me a broken game on PS4 and didn't address it for months. Please me to refund my game on PS4.

hmm... Still today, My PS4 OuterWilds information "Version 1.03/last updated 12/24". No update has come🤔

It would be enormously helpful if you could post the PS4 button controls. The in-game prompts really are not sufficient. A simple list online will do.

Our PS4 only updates automatically until version 1.03, not 1.05. We have suffered the saved data corruption issue. which is extremely frustrating, and will not play Outer Wilds again until 1.05 has been installed. How can we force PS4 to do an installation of the latest patch?

Hi Anthon, since PS4 launched later than Xbox and PC its patch numbers are different. You are up to date; that version includes a save backup system. Comments are closed.
