Nope. Just had my save corrupted. Unnacceptable to release a game for money in this state. Rather embarrassing.

the file save corruption crush occurred to me yesterday. I bought it last week and play about 30 hours over no save data crush(once application crushed but save data was no damage). Came after Patch1.0.4, It's data corruption crush occur twice in a day. 2nd time I played about 7 hours new game😩

Hi, I'm also having the save data corruption issue repeatedly. I really hope you can fix this ASAP as I love the game, but I can't bring myself to play it knowing my save might get wiped again.

The game has crashed and corrupted my save data 7 (!) times this week. I know that sounds ridiculous and I probably should have quit sooner. Seeing as I'm now well past the point of enjoying the game anymore, I'm just going to look up what I missed.

I bought my game 3 days ago. It had 2 crashes since. Save data corrupted. After 2 days of playing I lost all of it twice.. I won't play till it wil be fixed. Is it possible to know when the next patch will come out?

I take it back. I had a stable game for a week. Had so much... And just lost it all during the memory flip. I will just have to stop playing, despite how much I love this game. Keep us updated on whether there's a fix :/

Hello I've had the game crash on me too on PS4 today with 1.0.4. I got a corrupted savefile and lost all my progress.

Sadly I ran into the same save corruption buy as others on this thread. Really digging the game, but the frustration of losing my ship logs repeatedly is not persuading me to sink major time into it before a fix is issued.

Have now had 2 corrupted save files on ps4. 1st was attempting to load my save the day after playing for the 1st time. 2nd time, game crashed and then the game was unable to load saved data, reporting a corrupted file. Enjoyed the time I spent with the game but will not play again until this is fixed.

Bought the game three days ago, and my save file was just corrupted after a crash. I know progression is based on game knowledge, but it's really frustrating since I spent a lot of time diligently completing most of the ship log, area by area.

Just had my save corrupted after about 15 hours of play. Also experienced a hard crash about once every 90 minutes. The state of this game on ps4 is honestly shocking. Too bad because there is a really compelling game under all the technical issues.

I just got a corrupted save file after playing for a few hours. The instability of the PS4 port is shockingly irresponsible and incompetent. And in a few days, there are going to be a LOT of frustrated people running into this problem who got the game as a gift. So disappointing.

I recently bought this game because it got game of the year on a gaming website and I never even heard about it. Just got the save file corruption bug after my game crashed after I burned up trying to land on Hallow's Lantern. Felt like a kick to the gut for a game like this where each discovery kind of builds to figuring out the next clue. Probably was 6-8 hours in after 3 play sessions. I don't have a lot of time to game so this was pretty painful. I'm going to ask for a refund from Sony.

Well, Sony refused to give me a refund. Their return policy states, "If you started to download or stream the purchased content you are not eligible for a refund unless the content is faulty." Well I clearly downloaded the content and I tried very hard but very unsuccessfully to convince them that the content is faulty. I was told their official policy on faulty content is, "The publisher has to release an official statement that their game is unplayable." I felt that that was quite a high bar to achieve to get a refund. I told them that the game devs have already acknowledged the bug on their blog but I guess that was not enough. I told them there was no manual save and therefore no multiple save files so when a save file is corrupted there is no way to retrieve your save file and you must start over. I tried to explain why this was a very bad thing a single player adventure game. No luck. By the way this was all said to a supervisor after I got nowhere with the customer service rep. I was told they can't help me, the policy is the policy and I need to take it up with the publisher. Like I have a direct line with the publisher. I didn't give my money to the publisher I gave it to the sony playstation store. How are they going to give me my money back? So I'm out $25 for a game I'm never going to replay because I don't want to retread all the 6-8 hours of stuff I already did.

Hey, I understand it must be hard to fix those sort of things, but I think you guys should at least let us know you are looking to fix the crash and save issues on PS4. I am loving the game, and even if it is possible to finish it with just the previous knowledge, I want to play as intended.

See the reddit comment stream, maybe PS4 corrupted save file problem already once resolved October patch. then I thought this “Ah, this is the simple develop version management miss. Rewind last develop save point, and add the known bug fix line then solve. That’s as easy as pie. Maybe fix it a few days soon🤔”.

The PS4 save corruption bug makes the game unplayable. Release a public statement acknowledging this fact so I can get a refund from Sony. Stop lying to everyone.

I just want to say THANK YOU so much for this update. I had played the game a ton and found everything when it launched on Xbox back in May and June, but I was plagued but the Gabbro bugs where the logs wouldn't update. I stuck with you guys through this and was vocal about it, but it was FIXED with this update and I was finally able to get the Archaeologist achievement after talking to Gabbro.

I got hit with a corrupted save for the 5th fucking time today on PS4. Please fix this shit. It's ridiculous you havent figured it out yet. I love this game but having to start over every few hours is making me want to smash my TV. If it means anything I think so far it's happened every time when I run out of oxygen on the Ember twin. Please for the love of god figure this shit out.

Please fix the mouse issues with the game, where there's a noticeable delay between movement and on-screen feedback.

Sure looks exhausting being professional game devs. Wish you all the best of luck with fixing that PS4 save corruption thing. In the mean time, I just wanted to thank you all for delivering such an amazing experience. Literally made me wanna jump straight back into Unity and make something cool (although I do know games like these aren't exactly made in a week xD). Comments are closed.
