As we enter our last week of pre production on our last game, nothing revs our engines like potato balls and chicken croquettes from Portos!
We're very excited to be finalizing our new logo here at Mobius! We wanted something that spoke to who we are and what we do--exploring the unknown, being weird & wild but fun & inviting--and we feel like our new logo speaks to that.
Our awesome lead artist, Alice Li, has been wiping out some rough cuts of the animated version, and our equally awesome audio lead, Sean Balas, created a few different options for what the audio to go with our corresponding vision might be. Let us know what you think? Which would you choose?
We are super proud of our lead designer, Alex Beachum, for winning both Excellence in Design and the Seamus McNally Grand Prize at the Independent Games Festival last night for his project Outer Wilds!
The emphasis he puts on wonder and exploration are a huge part of what makes him a great designer and Outer Wilds a great game, and its that same sense of discovering the unknown that make Alex and our creative director, Loan Verneau (who also worked on Outer Wilds), such great collaborators.
Exploration is a big part of Terra Chroma and our unannounced next title, tentatively called Reconnaissance 138.
